Cale Caboth

My work is about loving what I do and doing what I love. I love working with my hands. I have tried my hand at many skills: machining, farming, and computer-aided drafting, but none of these skills have enticed or inspired me the way I am enticed and inspired by woodworking. As a second generation woodworker, I feel honored to be using the same time-tested skills as my grandfather and the other woodworkers who have came before me. I take the skills my predecessors have invented and refined, and combine them with modern technology to create furniture that graces any room with its elegance and presence. I gather design ideas from the world around me. I am most inspired by nature and my fellow woodworkers. I like to add geometric shapes to my furniture, utilizing both linear patterns and subtle curves. My style has the air of Art Deco, but I remain true to my own personal design style always.
